Ennie Chipembere Chikwema Joins Humentum as New Director of Locally Led Development

Humentum is pleased to announce the appointment of Ennie Chipembere Chikwema to the position of Director of Locally Led Development, effective January 18, 2022. Ennie joins Humentum’s fully remote team from Johannesburg, South Africa.

In this newly created role, Ennie will guide Humentum on its commitment to support locally-led development within its strategy, initiatives, and operations, including the development of products and innovations designed to meet the operating model needs of national NGOs.

Ennie brings a wealth of experience with more than 20 years leading participatory planning, program design, strategy and organizational development, and donor relationship management in the NGO sector. This includes roles at Konrad Adenauer Foundation Stiftung in Zimbabwe and ActionAid International, a social justice organization working in 45 countries.

Ennie’s expertise also covers designing, facilitating, and managing multi-stakeholder learning processes with delicate power and gender dynamics. Additionally, Ennie has launched an online coaching service focused on career development, work-life-learning integration, holistic well-being, and leadership coaching.
