Ibrahim is a financial professional with 13 years of experience with international NGOs based in Sudan. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and has a Master’s degree in peace and development studies. Ibrahim’s experience includes working for several prominent NGOs, including Inspire for Management Excellence, German Agro Action, Save the Children, and the British Council.
Ibrahim has supported strengthening more than 50 CSOs and NGOs in financial management and governance during the last four years. He has delivered over 100 open and in-house training courses in the essentials of financial management, grants management, financial sustainability, and fighting fraud in NGOs. Ibrahim has also conducted over 100 mentoring sessions and on-job training for NGOs.
Ibrahim undertakes consultancies locally and internationally for NGOs, staff, and some institutes such as the French Embassy, CARE International, DRC, and War Child, strengthening the capacity of their partners in financial management. Ibrahim combines his leadership and management skills with his accountancy training and experience, supporting organizations in financial management, accountability, internal controls, and compliance.
