Laura Malaguerra

Director, Revenue & Events Management

Laura Malaguerra (she/her) has more than 15 years’ experience in global development, focusing on learning events strategy planning, logistics management and business development.

Laura joined Humentum in 2013 and was promoted to the Director, Revenue & Events in 2020. She has contributed to the growth of Humentum’s events portfolio to provide accessible training opportunities for thousands of participants every year. She is passionate about helping organizations find solutions that will strengthen their operations and empower staff through our learning and consultancy services.

Prior to joining Humentum, Laura started her career with the staff development team at ACDI/VOCA. She has a master’s degree from Utah State University and a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University. She lives in the Brookland neighborhood of DC with her husband and two kids. In their free time, they enjoy hiking and doing DIY projects on their home, originally built in 1917.
