She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and a member of other professional bodies. She has received a Bachelor of Business Administration accounting degree. Hilda is a certified financial management trainer, with over 7 years with Humentum.

Hilda has worked with several humanitarian and development NGOs across large, medium and small sized organizations in developing the capacity of finance and non-finance executives. She has vast experience in Financial Management and Operations and has supported multiple organizations in budgeting, accounting, audits (internal & external), internal controls/risk management, organizational assessments, process improvements, staff management and capacity building. She has a positive and supportive attitude that has allowed her to assess and build capacity in financial management and other systems of NGOs over the years.
