Our Initiatives

Amplifying change through collective action

We know that individual organizations can only go so far alone. That’s why we work at the sector-wide level, bringing together funders, nonprofits and NGOs, and civil society leaders to tackle the systemic challenges that hold the sector back.

Our initiatives address the tough questions about transparency, accountability, and capacity—creating frameworks and standards that benefit everyone. A proven partner, we’ve worked with funders including the Ford Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the Gates Foundation, and Open Society Foundations and more to turn vision into reality.

Our initiatives

More than 10 million organizations in the global development sector manage billions of dollars annually—yet no internationally recognized accounting standard exists for nonprofits.

The absence of standardized financial reporting creates inconsistent practices across 92% of countries, redundant reporting formats, and barriers to transparent funding.

The result? Wasted time, money, and missed opportunities for global impact.
