Jo Baker works in developing and delivering financial management training courses and providing financial consultancy. Jo’s working life began at the accountancy firm Arthur Andersen where as a trainee chartered accountant, she sought out charity audit clients. She joined the international NGO sector as head of international finance for British Red Cross, where she developed her management accounting skills working on emergency and development programs throughout the world.

Jo’s work has taken her across Africa, Russia/Central Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean, working with partner organizations to strengthen their finance systems. A key focus in recent times has been helping organizations assess their partners’ financial health.
