Skills and experience

Terver Kuegh’s work experience spans over ten years in the international development sector with roles around developing and leading capacity-building projects for local NGOs in Nigeria using his expertise in project management, knowledge management, organizational development, and learning and development.

Terver coordinated Caritas Nigeria’s PMD Pro project that has now seen nearly 1000 NGO staff access PMD Pro training and certification in Nigeria. As a project management specialist with Action Against Hunger in Nigeria, his work involved developing an Action Against Hunger PMD Pro approach and making it accessible, using PMD Pro Flex for many of their staff working to respond to the conflict in Nigeria’s North East. This project won global recognition in the 2017 Learning Technology Awards. The same year, Terver was awarded the 2017 Alan Harpham award for his contribution to advancing the PMD Pro methodology in the international development sector.

Terver is currently leading a project quality and improvement project for Action Against Hunger which involves setting project management standards based on the PMD Pro methodology. He is a life-long honorary member of PM4NGOs, and he is contributing to the re-write of the PMD Pro guide. He is currently undergoing a Master’s degree in Education (Innovation in Learning and Teaching) with the University of South Wales. He is a certified Knowledge Manager (KMI Washington) and is in the pool of project management senior consultants for the United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR).
