Skills and experience

Terver Kuegh brings over 15 years of experience in the international development sector, where he has managed multi-thematic programs and led capacity-building initiatives that strengthened project management quality standards at field, national, and headquarters levels. His expertise spans project and program management, knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, organizational development, fraud prevention, and risk management. He has worked with several organizations, including Action Against Hunger, Caritas Nigeria, American University of Nigeria, and Plan International Global Hub, UK.

In 2017, Terver’s leadership on a project with Action Against Hunger Nigeria earned global recognition at the Learning Technologies Awards in London. That same year, he received the prestigious Alan Harpham Award from PM4NGOs and APMG International for his contribution to advancing Project DPro within the development and humanitarian sector. He has also contributed to key sector resources, including the Project DPro Guide, DisasterReady’s Essentials of Project Management course, and the FIELD Capacity Building Programme led by Save the Children, IKEA Foundation, World Vision, and others.

Terver currently leads Sabi Training and Consulting Ltd, a company he founded in 2018 that has grown into one of the leading capacity-building organizations for project management in Nigeria and beyond. Through Sabi and his role with Humentum, Terver has delivered consulting and training services to thousands of field and global teams across Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Sudan, Jordan, Brazil, South Sudan, Canada, the US, Sierra Leone, Malawi, and the UK.

He is a lifelong honorary member of PM4NGOs and continues to contribute actively to the ongoing standardization of project management practice in the development and humanitarian sector. Terver holds degrees in Philosophy and Theology, multiple professional certifications, including Knowledge Management (KMI, Washington DC), and is currently pursuing an MSC in Project Management at the University of Salford, UK.
