Yvonne has 24 years of experience working in the international development sector. She is currently seconding as a Technical Procurement Expert Consultant at the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and helping small organisations build capacity.
Yvonne also spent over 4 years working in the international and local NGO sector, holding senior positions. She spent over 18 years working with USAID at their Southern Africa Mission offices in Botswana and South Africa and has experience working in 12 additional African countries. She has held mid-level and senior roles in USAID’s Financial Management Office (FMO) and its Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA). Yvonne’s former position at USAID, as a Senior Acquisition and Assistance Specialist, found her managing part of the regional bilateral health procurement portfolio – valued at US$1.5 billion, as well as the Regional HIV and AIDS Program (RHAP) portfolio.
Yvonne has obtained USAID’s Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting – Levels I and II. She also holds an MBA and BBA.
