Zoe Mitchell is a seasoned People & Culture leader and consultant who specializes in helping small organizations create workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and connected. She understands the pressures of limited resources and competing priorities, and brings clarity, confidence, and practical solutions that make people-related challenges easier to navigate. Her approach is rooted in simplicity, collaboration, and a belief that strong cultures start with people-first thinking.

Zoe most recently served as Director, People & Culture at Humentum, a global organization that strengthens operational excellence in the social impact sector. Since joining Humentum in January 2023, she has helped shape a culture of belonging, ensuring the organization has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. Her work empowers colleagues to learn, develop, and grow within an environment aligned to organizational purpose.

Before Humentum, Zoe held senior People & Culture roles in national and local UK charities, driving strategic people agendas and ensuring organizational values were embedded at every level. Earlier in her career, she specialized in Human Resources within the hospitality sector, including leadership roles with Hilton in the UK and Delta by Marriott in Canada. During her time at Graduate Prospects, her people practices contributed to the organization retaining the Investors in People accreditation six times, demonstrating her commitment to continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Zoe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and brings extensive expertise in culture building, HR strategy, compliance, organizational development, and employee experience. Across every project, Zoe’s goal is simple: to join the dots so organizations can focus on what matters, while their people feel supported to thrive.

She is based in Bolton, Greater Manchester (UK).
