Transforming Traditional Approaches to Compensation: Implementing Equitable Pay & Benefits at Humentum
Learn from Humentum’s own transformation to a more equitable compensation model. The following case study was independently done by an external agency to document the development, roll-out, and reception of Humentum’s new Total Rewards Policy and salary structure.
In November 2020, we rolled out a new Total Rewards Policy (TRP) with an accompanying Salary Policy for staff at Humentum. Realizing that this body of work would be of interest to our members and other humanitarian and development organizations, we contracted Global Development Plus (GDP) to document the development of our Total Rewards Policy (TRP) and new salary structure. Transparency is one of our core values at Humentum, and in that spirit, we are presenting their findings unaltered as they were received, critically examining our process and outcomes. Our members have had access to this on Humentum Connect since September 2021.
This package includes the full case study, as well as a recording with our CEO Dr. Christine Sow from June 2021 on our Total Rewards Policy, and a Q&A document to address the numerous questions we recieved during the webinar but didn’t have time to answer.
