Humentum is committed to providing accessible learning – regardless of organization size, location, or budget.
Our Training Scholarship program subsidizes registration costs for staff members of small organizations to receive equal access to Humentum workshops.
Anwar Chowdruy Principal Advisor for Health Financing, ABT Associates
"My interview went really well because I had finished the workshops [with support from Training Scholarships] and was up-to-date on USAID rules, regulations, and procedures. I spoke with complete confidence because I could now share and apply what I had learned from Humentum with my new project."
Who is eligible to receive a Training Scholarship?
Staff of nationally-based or regional non-profits/community based non-profit (NNGOs, NGOs, NPOs, CBOs), with annual revenues less than $1,000,000 USD.
A scholarship awardee can apply for up to three workshops annually using this program and an organization can send up to three people per workshop. However, funding is limited, and preference will be granted to those who have not already attended.
What does the program cover?
Humentum will cover most of the registration fee for a select number of Humentum’s openly scheduled online workshops.
Participants must contribute: $50 USD
This fee must be received at least ten working days before the workshop starts. If you are unable to pay by credit card or make a bank transfer to the UK or USA, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.
Travel, accommodation, and visas are not included and are the responsibility of the participant.
Which workshops are included?
Training Scholarships are available for the following workshops:
- Assessing your Partners’ Financial Health
- Budget Monitoring Essentials
- Budgeting Essentials
- Fighting Fraud in NGOs
- Financial Management for Development Professionals (FMD Pro)
- Planning for Financial Sustainability
What are your responsibilities?
After successfully participating in the workshop, we would like to hear about impact the Training Scholarship had on you. This can be accomplished by a blog or short interview completed by the scholarship recipient.
Only fully completed applications will be considered. We recommend applying at least four to six weeks before the scheduled workshop start date.
You will get feedback on your application at least three to five working days after submission. Reviews are done on a rolling basis.
