Beth Skorochod is the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at CollaborateUp. She is a skilled facilitator, co-creator, and designer of inclusive approaches to international development and social innovation. She has extensive experience leading workshops and multi-stakeholder engagements to collaboratively develop innovative solutions across diverse fields, including public health, biodiversity, democracy, and governance.

At CollaborateUp, Beth leads strategy, partnerships, and growth for the firm. She oversees the design, staffing, and execution of global co-creation processes and multi-stakeholder engagements. Notably, she designed USAID’s co-creation training curricula, which has become the agency’s flagship program with nearly 2,000 staff trained across five modules.

Her portfolio includes:

  • Supporting USAID Southern Africa’s VukaNow activity to combat wildlife crime and promote cross-partner learning across eight countries.
  • Directing the USAID Acquisition and Assistance Strategy refresh in 2023 by synthesizing input from over 100 stakeholders into a comprehensive strategy and workplan.
  • Leading strategic design initiatives for the U.S. Air Force Program Executive Officer for Business and Enterprise Systems, transforming organizational structures and frameworks for service delivery.

Beth’s expertise includes strategic design, user-centered approaches, and behavioral economics. She has developed national health strategies for HIV, family planning, and malaria in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and Kenya, working closely with governments, donors, and implementers to drive impactful change.

She holds a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in behavioral science from Johns Hopkins University. She is trained in design thinking from the Stanford Design School and has led numerous multidisciplinary teams to design solutions integrating diverse approaches.
