With over 25 years of experience in humanitarian and development organisations, Elie is passionate about prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (PSEAH). He served as Vice-President in charge of accountability and transparency for World Vision International, promoting good practice of accountability to children and communities in all World Vision operations (in about 100 countries).

Elie is a bilingual (French and English) independent consultant working in the area of adults and children safeguarding. He has an MSA from Andrews University in the USA. He also completed training in Investigation of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment from CHS Alliance.

He is registered as an investigation trainer for CHS Alliance and as a safeguarding consultant for the Resources Support Hub in the UK. He provides services to humanitarian and development organisations with assessment of their protection system for staff and vulnerable populations, providing technical training in safeguarding and conducting professional investigations on breaches of safeguarding, human resources and procurement policies. In his consultancy work, Elie worked for a variety of clients, including the World Health Organisation (WHO), the University of Notre Dame (US), MSF International, Options (UK)/KMET, CARE France, Terre des Hommes, etc. He served as a board member for several international organisations, including Accountable Now, Peek Vision and Life in Abundance International.
