Eric Friesth

Eric Friesth is an adaptive management expert who has twenty years’ experience managing projects of various sizes and complexity. Eric joined Acute Incite in 2021, serving first as the Director of Operations, where he now serves as Vice President. In this capacity, he provides both internal operational support and process improvement while also providing technical delivery in adaptive management. This includes serving as the Adaptive Operations Advisor where he supports tools and product development, leads session designs and facilitation for knowledge sharing events and pause and reflect sessions, and leading knowledge capture.

Previously, as the DCOP for USAID E-WASH Program, he worked with MEL advisors to inform pause and reflect sessions and facilitated adaptations with USAID as a member of the leadership team. He was Director of Operations on the $57M USAID Learning and Knowledge Management (LEARN) contract, where he helped define an adaptive approach to the contract, which included facilitating and managing more than $18M in buy-ins and associated processes for the USAID LEARN contract for USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning (PPL).

Eric also has extensive experience managing large-scale projects, including serving as the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Effective Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (E-WASH) Program, a $60M governance project working in 6 offices to improve the government’s service delivery of water to urban populations.
