Jessica Walker

Jessica Walker joined Humentum in April 2018 as Corporate Partnerships Manager and advanced to Senior Manager, Partnerships & Initiatives. She now serves as the Senior Manager of Convenings. In this role, she supports Humentum member learning and peer exchange through roundtables, webinars, and deep dives. She is responsible for curating knowledge, building a robust portfolio of programs for operations professionals, and facilitating ‘sensemaking’ as we navigate the changing sector together. Previously, she supported engagement with Humentum’s Industry Partners and event sponsors to develop strategic tools for building relationships among stakeholders in the sector, alongside other projects.

Jessica brings several years’ experience in fundraising, membership, and business development to her role at Humentum. She previously worked at member organization, American Councils for International Education, as a grant writer developing small- and large-scale proposals for a variety of global programs. Before American Councils, Jessica worked for GuideStar (now Candid) supporting their grant processes and redesigning and growing their membership program.

Jessica has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in anthropology and religious studies. Prior to working in the nonprofit sector, she supported an international student work exchange program and spent several years supervising fun at an amusement park.
