Lucy Heaven Taylor is a senior safeguarding specialist with over twenty years experience of safeguarding and PSEAH (protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment) in the humanitarian and development sector. She has provided advice on safeguarding and PSEAH to organisations such as UN Women, FCDO, Oxfam, Bond, and CHS Alliance. Her high-level experience includes training, organisational review, strategy development, toolkit design and evaluation. She is a trained safeguarding investigator with experience in facilitating workshops on implementing safeguarding and investigating safeguarding reports.

She is a member of FCDO’s Independent Reference Group on PSEAH, and is a regular contributor on discussion panels and in the media, including giving evidence to the UK Parliament International Development Committee Enquiry into Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in the Aid Sector. She is the Safeguarding Workstream Lead for the Disasters Emergency Committee, co-ordinating Safeguarding Leads from member agencies.
