Mohammad Zeitoun is a seasoned development and humanitarian sector professional with over 14 years of experience. Mohammad holds a MSc in International Public Service Management from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois that focused on exploring holistic approaches to social problems and topics such as refugee management, sustainable development, poverty reduction, and the intersection between these topics and local, national, and international policies.
Complementing his education, Mohammad spent the early years of his career in the non-profit sector in Chicago, working with World Relief and Heartland Alliance, specializing in case management and mental health for refugee and asylum seekers resettled in the Chicagoland area. Since 2011, Mohammad has been working as part of the Senior Leadership Team at Genome Training and Consulting, a firm in the MENA region focusing on providing capacity building and consulting services for the development and humanitarian sector.
In addition to his work with Genome, Mohammad is also active in the civil society sector, focusing efforts on cross-cutting themes in liberalism, democracy, and youth engagement. Currently, Mohammad serves as the Vice Chair for the Free Thought Forum (FTF) in Jordan, collaborating with international partners to provide awareness and advocacy for civil society engagement and liberalism.
Mohammad is also an Associate with Humentum, providing facilitation and capacity building on Project Management for Development (PMD Pro). Mohammad is Also PM4NGO Hub in Jordan, PM4NGOs Hubs are expert volunteers who represent PM4NGOs in specific countries or regions, providing support to learners and practitioners worldwide.
