Rudi has more than 17 years’ financial management experience working with senior management in not-for-profit organizations.

Following a successful commercial career in SAP consulting with Andersen Consulting and Audit and Transaction services with PwC, he began working in the not-for-profit sector in 2002 after joining ActionAid as Head of Finance. In 2005 he was appointed Finance Director and company secretary of ActionAid in the UK.

From 2012 to 2017 he worked as an independent consultant and associate consultant with Mango supporting over 40 different NGOs providing senior management with high level financial strategic advice, leading financial analysis and value for money (VfM) evaluations, providing internal audit, fraud investigations and financial reviews of projects or organizations, and supporting organizations in the development of local financial policies and systems.

In 2017 he joined Humentum and a year later was appointed to Director, Consultancy Services. He is responsible for all our consultancy work in the areas of financial management, compliance and risk, HR and learning, and programme management. He oversees Humentum’s consultancy services globally which we deliver through a team of 40+ associate consultants. Our work is primarily designed to strengthen the operational capacity of the development and humanitarian organizations we work with.

Rudi majored in Economics at Warwick University and later qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA). He is currently based in Madrid, Spain, where he originally grew up, with his wife and two children. He speaks fluent English, Spanish, and German and has working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese.
