Siham is formerly a senior executive in the NGO sector, with extensive experience of strategic consultancy to many international INGOs over a period of 14 years. Siham works with a range of organizations to improve their financial management practice, including financial strategy, and financial management policy, capabilities, processes and systems. She also accompanies senior managers in new organizations or organizations implementing considerable change. Siham also brings excellent communication and presentation skills, and has considerable experience of designing, running and facilitating workshops and other events.

Case studies

A qualified accountant who has worked as a finance director in several not for profits, Siham has considerable knowledge and experience of the financial management frameworks and drivers of NGOs, both large and small. In particular, she has advised a range of organizations on cost recovery and financial sustainability. Siham has also convened many events for Humentum, on a variety of topics, to foster sharing and learning among financial professionals working in NGOs. She convened five major conferences on treasury practice for international NGOs over the last five years, and recently formalized the learning from those events into a treasury practice healthcheck for international NGOs.
