Sónia Costa joined Humentum as a Senior Manager, as part of the Client Solutions team. Her role is to strengthen the relationship between Humentum, clients, and key stakeholders. Sónia brings Humentum’s services to development organizations by understanding their needs and mission. With her positive mindset and can-do attitude, she is able to provide solutions to development organizations in order to improve their operating models and to make a real positive change.

Prior to Humentum, Sónia worked in EU Public Affairs as an Account Manager in Brussels, Belgium and as a Project Manager in an NGO based in Lisbon, Portugal, where she worked with NGOs across Europe. Sónia has experience in Business Development, Account Management and International Development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Development and International Cooperation. Sónia volunteered and implemented a project in Africa (São Tomé e Principe) and worked as a Project Assistant in Latin America (Peru). She also had extensive training in Conflict Resolution, Human Rights and Entrepreneurship.

Sónia is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, but is eager to explore all corners of the world.
